My name is Nina Boals and this project was created as a part of English 100 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It was inspired by the debate in the city of Sun Prairie over whether or not to set up a chapter of The Boys and Girls Club. As a former Sun Prairie student, I was shocked as to why anyone would oppose setting up a place for students to hang out after school. I decided to look further into the debate by researching what benefits after school programs have to offer.
